| A great friend of mine died last week, he was a Veteran of Normandy only this time he was an American, he landed on Utah Beach, (First wave) moved inland and was seriously wounded, transferred back to England, then shipped home. A great Guy, Conrad Perry "Purple Heart" R.I.P. Another one of our veterans gone. Ed.

| Deepest condolences Ed, sorry to hear your sad news. I also note on the bbc site of the death of Eric Dowling http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/7544805.stm I must say the 'Memorial Service' with David Dunn at Stalag Luft III will stay with me forever. Very emotional. May they Rest in Peace
