| We have just returned from four great days in france visiting cemeteries that it isn't always possible to visit on a tour. There is a lot of general maintenance going on. I have a question, who are these vandals who outline names on a memorial in biro???There is evidence of cleaning on some parts and you can see where the pen marks areDoesn't 't anyone ever see these morons in action?

Which memorial was this? I have seen it done in charcoal at Arras, where the names are very hard to read, but never in biro!

| Paul, we saw it last week on the Vis-en-artois memorial and the Arras memorial. One of the ones at Arras is so high up they must have used a ladder!! I just wish we had seen the person doing it to remind them that it is desecration of a memorial
