I realise that if everyone on the coach wanted to do this then there would be no time for anything else, but if time permits then i'd love to visit Warloy Baillon - a few miles west of Albert where my great uncle is buried. What are the chances of arranging this?

I quite understand if this is not going to be possible, but as i've always been taught "Shy boys get nothing" !

Really looking forward to our trip, we have only been to the WWI battlefield once before (briefly)

Thanks for any feedback that one of the guides can possibly give.

Tour Departing 9th March

I will be there guide on this tour, and look forward to meeting Leger passengers old and new.

Looks like it might be cold, so get the winter warmers out! :w00t:

Tour Departing 4th June

I will be there guide on this tour, and look forward to meeting Leger passengers old and new.

We have a second coach on this departure - the guide on that will be Keith Quibell.

More pictures from 11th to 14th April 2007 tour

Here are some more of my pictures, if I can get them on the site!

26th to 29th October 2006 Silver Service Tour

What a great and memorable tour, very moving it enabled us to visit where our Grandparents and Great Uncles served and remember those who didn’t come back. Paul Reed our tour guide is a first class historian who made history come alive for us, his depth of knowledge and understanding of the First World War is truly astounding, all are questions no matter how small he answered fully.

Our coach crew Darren and Tony and the Silver Service coach, first class!
If you are staying in Menin we can recommend for your evening meal the restaurant Guynemer down the road from the Best Western Hotel, the best steak we have ever had.

Recommend this tour to anyone, a real good introduction to WW1 history.

When you are home if you want profiles of family members that served use Legers Research service (Via Paul Reed) excellent.

Caroline & Neil
11th to 15th March 2007 tour

Howdy!

To anyone from the party that I was in, hello and I hope you are all doing well.

To those of you who saw me fall over in Delville Wood, thanks for your discretion in not mentioning it to anyone else.....
