Channel tunnel fire

I am going with Leger on mon and I hear, there has been a major fire in the channel tunnel, with the usual traffic pile ups, that this has caused. Will this effect the timings etc for us on mon?

Going it alone

Having done a few escorted tours I am thinking of going it alone so I can visit one or two previously visited places that I would like to spend more time at e.g. Pozieres, The Devonshire's Trench, Serre but more importantly two personal sites, Trones Wood/Guillemont Track where my Great Uncle Pte Frank Harold Axford 15766
7th Battalion Northampton Regiment was killed on 18th August 1916 (according to my research) and Gavrelle where Reginald Leonard Haine (VC, MC & Bar) earned his VC on 28/29 April 1917.

The VC interest is because Second Lieutenant Haine was a former pupil at my school.

Any tips, ideas, recommendations for places to stay, do's & don'ts etc all gratefully received.

anyone help me with this? i am travelling to Verdun in June and wanted to take my laptop to keep in touch with my wife but i cant find any mention on the leger website if the hotels have internet access either cabled or wireless, anyone had any experience of this they could help me with?
