I think this one of the new tours, the first of which is in May. It does look good, with a packed itinerary.

Although I am a First World War historian (Centre for First World War Studies and a committee member of the WFA). I guide on a number of Second World War trips for Leger, and therfore am only too happy to help in any way I can with questions

I have also guided to the WW2 battlefields and still do. As with Paul my main interest is WW1 but still do enough WW2 sites to keep me busy. If you have any questions I would only be too happy to try and help.

Gents, you know that while I am a 'WW1 Guide', I do occasionally do WW2 tours for Leger. Time doesn't permit me to do much else, although the first year we did Normandy I did 12 of them in less than 4 months!

I am always happy to discuss WW2 matters with any of you and answer any questions you might have about theWW2 tours, although I must confess that while I have visited most of the WW2 battlefields Leger go to, I haven't always done one of the tours.

As you know from previous post I totally agree with you. I however do not think that a WWII guide is going to be forthcoming for regular input. I appreciate the personal situations of both Bill and Tony.

Paul is running the guides section virtually by himself all year round and I greatly appreciate his time. I however think it will be up to the forum members to suggest a topic on this subject.

Where are all the WW11 people?????

I feel as though I'm the only one posting on the subject. Once again I must ask the same question, "Where are the guides"? I am booked, with my party on another WW11 trip in Sept. Dunkirk and Fortress Europe. We are looking forward to it, but I personally would welcome some discussion on the Forum re: the subject, but it's nigh impossible.

Any thoughts?
