Hello,  first time posting from me, so here goes!

We are booked on the above tour starting May 26th,  is there any chance of visiting a particular war cemetery?  I realise that if everyone on the coach wanted to do this then there would be no time for anything else, but if time permits then i'd love to visit Warloy Baillon - a few miles west of Albert where my great uncle is buried. What are the chances of arranging this?

I quite understand if this is not going to be possible, but as i've always been taught "Shy boys get nothing" !

Really looking forward to our trip, we have only been to the WWI battlefield once before (briefly)

Thanks for any feedback that one of the guides can possibly give.

Hi BillyH

I can speak from experience. If the tour can fit in the visit for you they will. This is one of the great things about Leger....nothing is too much trouble. If they can't fit in a certain cemetary on the tour it won't be for want of trying ! I have been able to visit two cemetaries where I have special interest.

I have lost count of the tours I've done now and we have always visited cemetaries for members of the tours whenever possible. The great thing is, everyone ( or nearly everyone) on the tour are always happy to accomodate 'off the tour' stops. I've only ever heard one person moan.

Hope you find what who you are seeking.

Time will probably not permit a visit to this cemetery, as we don't directly drive into the area where it is located. However, I am sure we can help with getting you a taxi to visit it; we do this regularly for cemeteries that are outside of the areas we visit on the tour. I suggest you speak to your guide on Day 1 of the tour to discuss the feasibility of this.

Thanks to you both for that.

Maybe i'll do as you suggest Paul, and get a taxi. I may be reluctant to miss any of the itinerary though!
