Having visited the Cafe Gondree at Pegasus Bridge on numerous occasions, I think it is in desperate need of major structural renovation.

Is this a French Listed Building?

I know it is owned by Arlette Gondree, who I have had the pleasure of meeting several times.

As it was the first building to be liberated on D-Day, I would have thought it would have a preservation order on it, if so it needs some work doing to it.

Do you know anything?

i agree, would be nice if the royal british legion could buy it, still has a very 1945 feel to it, outside loo in the garden still.

Its truly a historical building, and would be wonderful if the Royal British Legion were given first offer, if it were ever put up for sale.  Cheers Phil...
